The OBLOOM specialty
'RAD' skincare line

At OBLOOM we focus on a minimalistic, effective approach to skincare.

Our 'RAD' line of products work quickly to gently soothe the disrupted microbiome on the skin that can cause irritation, itchiness, inflammation and damaged skin.

The ingredients we have chosen are all nature-derived and encourage

the skin to rebuild itself more effectively without introducing synthetic, environmentally-toxic pollutants.

Infused with skin-loving components such as antioxidants, calming botanicals, and natural humectants, they work to reduce inflammation while promoting rapid cellular repair. These gentle yet powerful ingredients allow the skin to rebuild its layers and regain strength without added stress.

With consistent use, the RAD range ensures your skin gets the care it needs to heal as quickly and comfortably as possible.

RAD Gel:
Our gentle, soothing Aloe vera-based RAD Gel is ideal for acne, cuts, skin burns (including during radiation treatments), itchy skin and scalp, and used first for eczema and psoriasis sufferers.
$20 (plus HST)
60ml (2 fl. oz) glass dropper bottle

• RAD GEL INGREDIENTS: Aloe vera: For its soothing, calming, skin-loving benefits  Colloidal silver: For its anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and antibacterial properties to help reduce the appearance of redness and calm the skin after treatments Tea tree essential oil: Minding its dermal limits (for skin safety), tea tree helps soothe dry, flaky skin, relieve itching, reduce redness and swelling. Tea tree is a great antiseptic and anti-inflammatory. Geranium essential oil: Used at minimum quantities, this essential oil is one of the few allowed for sensitive, delicate, eczema/psoriasis-prone skin due to its high flavonoid (antioxidant) content. It's also well-respected for its anti-inflammatory, antibacterial propeties. Lactobacillus ferment: A non-living probiotic shown to have a potent soothing effect that strengthens the skin by helping to balance its microbiome.

• USAGE DIRECTIONS: A little goes a long way! Start with a half-pea sized amount and spread directly onto damaged skin. Rather than applying the dropper directly on the skin, please keep the dropper sanitized by applying the RAD Gel onto clean hands first. RAD Gel has been formulated to be absorbed quickly into the skin, without leaving any sticky or wet residue. Continue with RAD Lotion if required (for deeper moisturization). Do not apply RAD Gel directly into the eyes (yes, you may apply it UNDER the eyes). This product has been formulated for exterior use only and should not be ingested. Not recommended on babies, children under 3 years old or pregnant women, as it does contain tea tree essential oil.

• WHAT DOES IT FEEL LIKE? RAD Gel feels slippery on the skin and glides gently to cover the skin area desired, without having to rub roughly or without stickiness. You may have 'tingling' sensations as the RAD Gel penetrates deeper into the skin. If there is bacteria on the skin, you may feel a very slight heating sensation and/or itchiness as the anti-inflammatory, antifungal ingredients work their magic. This is normal, and it shouldn't last very long. You may feel slight cooing and numbing sensations, which are typical of tea tree essential oil, as it penetrates the skin to disinfect and calm inflammation. This sensation does not persist, but it helps quite a bit when you have skin burns (including radiation burns). As with any ingredient - regardless of how 'natural' it may be - anyone can experience a reaction or sensitivity to it. If this occurs, discontinue use immediately (to date, no reactions have been submitted – to date, no reactions have been submitted – but as we all know, anyone can react to any ingredient – even water!

• WHAT DOES IT SMELL LIKE? RAD Gel has been formulated using two of the essential oils safe for compromised skin (even eczema/psoriasis): Tea tree and geranium essential oils. Because of this, the Gel has a typical tea tree-like scent which has often been said to reminisce of 'cement' with a faint lingering of flowery geranium.

RAD Lotion:
Rich in skin-soothing oatmeal, our OBLOOM RAD Lotion is a thicker, highly moisturizing and soothing product for those with extra dry, irritated and damaged skin – including eczema, psoriasis, chapped lips, dry elbows, cracked fingers and heels, and as step 2 on top of the RAD Gel after radiation treatments have concluded.
$30 (plus HST)
118ml (4 fl. oz) glass pump bottle

• RAD LOTION INGREDIENTS: Oatmeal: An extremely soothing addition to any lotion, we've used both oat oil and colloidal oatmeal for its anti-inflammatory properties. Oatmeal is rich in antioxidants and high in vitamin E to hydrate and nourish damaged skin, and for its non-irritating, low allergenic use.   Colloidal silver: For its anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and antibacterial properties to help reduce redness and calm the skin after treatments. Colloidal oatmeal has been used at hospital burn centres for decades. Tucuma butter: The high fatty acids content are the main features of tucuma butter, as it helps provide antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory benefits to damaged skin. It also acts as a natural silicone-like butter that helps the lotion glide on the skin more easily, while providing protection. Calendula: Used as an extract in glycerine, calendula is known as the "queen" of herbs for burned, sore, damaged skin. High in anti-inflammatory properties, calendula helps to soothe the skin and reduce redness, promote faster healing and minimizing scar formation, while gently stimulating new skin cell growth. Bisabolol: Derived from German chamomile, this precious oil is a clear, viscous, beautifully (and naturally) scented addition to the RAD Lotion that helps to calm the skin from inflammation, providing strong antimicrobial properties, and accelerate the skin's natural healing process by stimulating cell regeneration.

• USAGE DIRECTIONS: Pump the RAD Lotion onto your clean hands and apply liberally to affected areas – you may use it all over the body, if you'd like. RAD Lotion has been formulated to be absorbed quickly into the skin, without leaving any sticky or wet residue. For those with eczema and/or psoriasis, we recommend applying the RAD Gel on the skin first and continuing with the RAD Lotion after the Gel has penetrated the skin. Do not apply RAD Lotion directly into the eyes (yes, you may apply it UNDER the eyes). This product has been formulated for exterior use only and should not be ingested. Not recommended on babies, children under 3 years old or pregnant women, as it does contain tea tree essential oil.

• WHAT DOES IT FEEL LIKE? RAD Lotion feels wonderful on the skin! It's a quickly-penetration lotion that is creamy without being overly greasy or oily. As with any ingredient - regardless of how 'natural' it may be - anyone can experience a reaction or sensitivity to it. If this occurs, discontinue use immediately (to date, no reactions have been submitted – but as we all know, anyone can react to any ingredient – even water!).

• WHAT DOES IT SMELL LIKE? RAD Lotion has been formulated using two essential oils safe for compromised skin (even eczema/psoriasis): Lavender and sweet birch essential oils, which, combined with the natural scent of Alpha Bisabolol (from German chamomile), the scent is a soothing, calming minty-lavender combination that is flowery and forest-like. Everyone loves this special, delicate scent and we know you will appreciate it! Even cancer patients have appreciated the light scent that is very different than regular store-bought products with a 'fake' or plastic-like scent.
